University of Colorado at Denver (August 2018 - May 2020)

  • Master's of Arts in Applied Geography and Geospatial Sciences (GPA: 3.88)

  • Teaching Assistant for two semesters (Spring and Fall 2019) for GEOG 4081/5081 Cartography and Computer Mapping Course

    • Help students with in class activities for trouble shooting technical errors​

    • Presented lectures both semesters on how to use Adobe Illustrator for mapping and cartographic visualization

    • Presented lecture in Spring 2019 on web cartography and 3D data visualization

    • Presented lecture in Fall 2019 on types of maps and projected and geographic coordinate systems.

    • Held office hours to assist students with exercise questions, test preparation, and any other questions or concerns students had for the course.

    • Developed my previous knowledge from working as a cartographic research assistant to teach students the principles and foundations of cartography, challenging myself to learn the material thoroughly.

  •  Obtained internship at the National Park Service Intermountain Regional Office through CU Denver.
